Signing and Witnessing Your Will
Store your Will

Our online Will service aims to make writing your Will as comfortable, efficient and affordable as possible. After you have completed the online Will process, the following steps enable you to complete your Will with ease.

The reviewing process

Basic Online Will Service

After you submit and pay for your Will, we will review and proofread the information you provided to prepare your Will. If we identify any issues (for example, conflicting information), we will notify you by email and let you know if any corrections are needed.

It usually takes around 2 working days to complete your Will and send you a PDF version with signing instructions.

If you have selected our professional print service, we will first seek your confirmation before delivering the Will package to you for signing.

Advanced Online Will Service

After we receive your submission, we will contact you by email to arrange a video call with our Will specialist. This call will include general estate-planning guidance tailored to your situation.

If time allows, we will send you a draft PDF of your Will before the meeting for your review.

Once you confirm that you are happy with the contents of your Will, we will arrange delivery of the professionally printed Will for signing and witnessing.

Signing and Witnessing Your Will

Once you have printed or received your Will, it is ready to be signed and witnessed.

One benefit of preparing your Will online is the flexibility to sign and witness your Will at a time and place convenient for you, such as at home, in your office, or elsewhere—without needing to visit a law firm.

There are some requirements for witnesses. For example, witnesses cannot be beneficiaries under your Will or their spouses. We therefore include guidance in our estate-planning package on how to choose suitable witnesses.

It is common to ask a friend or colleague to act as a witness. Your witnesses do not need to know the contents of your Will; they only need to confirm that they saw you sign the Will in their presence.

You can read more about witnessing here.

Store your Will

Once your Will is complete, you can store your Will somewhere safe but it should also be accessible by your chosen executors.

You can consider joining our storage membership to store your Will with us for a small fixed yearly fee. This would include yearly reminders, so you can keep your estate plan up to date and would free you from the possibility of loosing the original documents.
